In-Seam
Product and Functional Design
A new approach to personalized shopping using real, commission supported stylists and fashion experts.
The Challenge
Create and design functions to incentivize both clients and personal shoppers to style, consign, and eventually purchase product utilizing digital tools that are well designed and easy to use. Clients receive a personalized selection of goods and if purchased, the stylist receives commission.
Project Brief
Along with the team of designers at In-Seam, I utilized design sprints between January and August in 2024 through Data Analysis, Secondary and Competitive Research, and creating new UI components in order to produce and test new functionalities for online shopping.
“Edit” Creation
A process where a personal shopper or stylist selects a group of items in order to create an “edit” of products to digitally propose to their client who can then approve or deny the exact items they are interested in.
Orders and Payments
An custom order history was created with status indicators for stylists to track the status of their consignments as well as their potential and actual commission and their payment status in collaboration with Stripe.
Stylist Dashboard
An order dashboard was created as an extension of the for personal shoppers to view the status of their edits in order to track their actual and potential commission earnings.
